What a fab place to stay for a rew days relaxation and to recharge our batteries. Enclosed garden for the doggo and hot tub for the humans. A magical forest walk to the lake (Bawsey Estate). Well placed fo Sandringham but also an easy drive to some stunning beaches like Holkham. Highly recommend. We will be back! Thanks to Stephen and Amber for a wonderful stay.

We’ve never had such a great welcome - just some lovely personal touches. Communication ahead of the visit was great and we even secured a shopping order that was kindly put away for us. The property is well laid out and as described. We had a fantastic time - Thank you.

Stephen's place is a lovely place to escape to when in Norfolk. The cottage is set inside a lovely private woodland surrounded by lakes and is nice, peaceful and private. 

It is 15mins drive to King's Lynn and 20-30mins to Hunstanton so ideal for exploring the local areas. 

The hot tub is a lovely addition and spacious enough for 6 adults.

All in all, it is a lovely stay and highly recommended if you're looking to stay in the area.

We had an amazing stay at the cottage. Was a special treat for my son’s 30th birthday and he was totally made up. The cottage was beautifully presented and the hot tub went down a storm. Will definitely be back. Thanks to both Stephen and Amber for the warm welcome. The birthday cake was a lovely touch.

Homely spacious cottage, well equipped and photos don’t do it justice, very attractive and comfortable inside. Tub and outside area nicely done with twinkly lights. Hot tub towels a great addition. Garden area looked very pretty with spring blossom and a wandering deer. Lovely big lounge for playing games and dining.

Our stay was perfect (apart from the good old British weather!). Lovely and homely in amazing surroundings.
The cottage had everything you need, the welcome basket was much appreciated.
The garden is great and dog proof, the hot tub is a great added bonus.
We will be back in August with some of our family 😊

Beautiful cottage in the lovely Bawsey Country Park. Fantastic for dog walks. They went above and beyond with a special welcome pack and flexible check out. Hot tub was lovely and well prepared with towels etc.

What a perfect get away for outdoor types, children and furry family...all made welcome.
Fabulous setting with the forest and lake literally on the doorstep, and a lovely hot tub to enjoy.
The cottage was perfect with a huge lounge and so warm even in the winter with their beast of an aga on full time, and what a treat to cook on ! 
We absolutely loved our stay, lights on and music as we arrived and plenty of welcoming treats to greet us on a dark winter afternoon, but the message to arrive early if we wanted because everything was ready was lovely.

Myself and my family had a wonderful time spending our Christmas at this beautiful cottage! Waking up Christmas morning and walking down to the beautiful lake was so peaceful great for dog walking too. The cottage was big enough for the whole family especially to sit and eat Christmas dinner together! The only negatives we have is that two of the hobs didn’t work on the electric cooker which made it difficult to cook Christmas dinner and unfortunately the lights on the Christmas tree didn’t work. Apart from that we would definitely come back, we had a great time using the hot tub and the board games that were supplied!

Lovely traditional cottage in a peaceful location, right by a beautiful lake, but the towns facilities, shops etc within easy access. Such lovely touches, such as wine and mince pies upon arrival, a lovely Christmas greeting letter, a goody box for our dog, a warm and Christmas lit up kitchen with music playing. Excellent first impression. The outdoor hot tub was the highlight for us. The cottage was always warm and cosy and there was plenty of space for us. 

The only downside was it was a little tricky to find, as the post code on Google maps brings you a little further down the other side of the road. We arrived in the dark and the main road it's off is pitch black. There is a sign outside but it was very difficult to see in the dark.

We had a lovely relaxing stay in this beautiful place. 
The house was great for accessibility for our visitors with restricted mobility. 
We all slept extremely well in the peaceful surroundings, comfy beds with plenty of good pillows. Cosy and well heated, for our elderly family members. 
We loved the spacious family room with 3 sofas and huge table for us all to sit comfortably and spend time together. 
We enjoyed the privacy of the garden and grounds, so colourful with autumn leaves, strolling to the lake. 
The hot tub was splendid and we enjoyed star gazing from it on the cold, clear  evenings. 
The kitchen was well equipped for us all,  and we did cook a large family meal. There were plenty of close restaurants for visiting or takeaways. So close to big shopping centre - very handy. We hope we can return soon.

We stayed at Forestry Cottage to celebrate both my girlfriend’s and my son’s birthdays, and it was truly the best place we’ve ever stayed! The host went above and beyond to make the weekend special—decorating with banners, balloons, and even surprising us with a cake. Their kindness didn’t stop there; they messaged us on the day of arrival to say we could check in early and, on the day of departure, told us we could stay as long as we liked, making the experience even more relaxing.

The hot tub was a massive hit with the kids and was spotless, having been freshly cleaned between guests. The whole stay was comfortable, welcoming, and beyond our expectations. We can’t wait to return in the future—highly recommend!

Absolutely lovely get away home, felt extremely homely, the cottage was always warm, great night sleep and very cozy. Went here with friends and enjoyed the hottub and playing games. 

Amber was fantastic and very responsive with getting back to me with any enquiries.

Stephen and Amber really have gone the extra mile with Forestry Cottage! It is a fabulously cosy but yet spacious cottage, with many home from home comforts. The house is spotlessly clean, inviting and the facilities are great. I booked this cottage for my husband’s special birthday, and the cake, balloons and banner were such a lovely touch when we arrived.  Recommendation from them fora family lunch on Sunday was spot on too!  We will absolutely be back. Thank you so much xxx

Beautiful setting with the lake at the back and the sea in striking distance. Lovely house with a massive living/dining room. My first visit to Norfolk- I’ll be back!

Booked for a lovely long weekend with family and a puppy. Was perfect and absolutely found as pictured and presented! 
Great board games, the Wii (throwback!), hot tub was idyllic & great space for dining and entertainment. Secure garden area for the pup which saved the stress of wondering where he was!! 
A really wholesome vibe and would 100% book again. Amber was great for asking questions and providing flexibility on check in with parties coming from different areas of the UK too - thank you!

We really enjoyed our few days here. Lots of space for 2 families and a very comfortable, well-equipped space. We enjoyed the Aga (which was super warm!) and went on several walks through the woods and around the lake. Lots of lovely, kind touches from the hosts to celebrate a 75th birthday in our group. Great location for sight-seeing: Sandringham, Hunstanton and Kings Lynn were all worth a visit - some really historic buildings in Kings Lynn. The nearby road is busier than we anticipated, and consequently a little noisier than we would have hoped for, but nothing that spoilt our time or prevented sleep! All in all a lovely stay.

I stayed at the house for a mums weekend away, it was the perfect location with the lake being a short walk and close enough for a couple of beach trips and a trip to a castle.  The house was lovely and the living room and dinning room table were the perfect size for us all to sit around and relax.   We had an amazing time and would defiantly consider staying again if we manage to arrange another weekend away.

This cottage is a dream, set in the most beautiful woodlands. It had everything we needed and the hosts were fantastic at communication and very helpful and kind. We will be back!

We had a great few days here. It slept 8 of us comfortably and had plenty of table space inside and out for us to all hang out together. 
The nearby lake was gorgeous and well worth a walk around. 
The property is close to a main road so there was quite a lot of noise overnight, but nothing a pair of ear plugs couldn’t fix. 
We had some issues with the hot tub while we were there but the hosts were easy to communicate with and we even got a partial refund in the end so that was great. 
All in all, a lovely stay that was great value. If I’m back that way again I’ll definitely stay again!

We had a great time in the cottage and everything was just as described. A great and responsive host, would highly recommend. 

The cottage is in a great location with so much within half an hour in the car. The cottage itself is lovely and spacious. The front room is great for being together and spending time as a group.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. 

The instructions were easy to follow and the property is very private.  

Lovely property with good size rooms, we especially loved the living and dining big room space. 

Worth going on a walk through the woods to the lake. The kids loved the games which were available to use.

I think as the as the property has been used extensively  lover the summer holiday season there are a few bits minor bits of maintenance that will need addressing at some point (eg loose tap in the bathroom) but I’ve shared these directly with Amber. 

Overall a great property for a larger family looking to relax and enjoy Norfolk.

This is the second time we have stayed and it was again fantastic. Would highly recommend.

Amazing stay, cottage had everything we needed for the five us, hot tub and outside area was great and the location was beautiful. One minute walk through the woods and you’re looking over the stunning lake which made for a great stroll round in the afternoon. Cannot wait to stay again.

The garden is 100% enclosed and our dogs were safe the whole time.
The garden is a decent size and well maintaned. The only thing we would say is that there is no direct outside lighting around the table and seating area which we did find to be a hindrance on arrival as it was dark when we checked in. 
The kitchen is fully kitted out and the fridge freezer nice and clean. We had no trouble finding anything we needed.
As it was a birthday celebration we arrived to find party poppers, cake and a banner had been left for us, which was a lovely touch and much appreciated!
The hottub was clean and definitely big enough for the 5 of us who used it! The jets in one corner didnt work and the next day after use there was a smell. We didnt use the tub on the second day because of this.

All in all, if you would have us again i will 100% book another stay in this beautiful cottage!

A lovely place to stay, on the door step access to Bawsey lakes and surrounding woods for walks. Great for our dog with a large enclosed garden. Comfy, clean and with all the amenities we needed.

Beautiful area was very peaceful. The home was lovely and tidy. We loved the extra touches made when we arrived the doggie stuff went down a treat and were handy!

Fabulous stay, perfect location and a really gorgeous place. The country park is beautiful. Lovely touches of Christmas decorations, doggy hamper and a birthday cake and balloons for my Dad’s birthday. I had to rush my son to hospital and the hosts were so kind with helping us out - over and above kindness. Thanks so much, we shall be back!

The owners have thought of everything. There was even a goodie box for our dog and a landline for emergencies. We have never stayed anywhere where every small detail has been thought of like here. Bawsey  Country Park is stunning as well. We had a great stay. Thank you.

The property was as described and really exceeded expectations. It was warm, cosy and decorated for Christmas. The Aga in the kitchen gave a real nostalgic feel. The lounge was enormous and facilitated a sociable family occasion. The fire made it very homely. Whilst the rooms were comfortable and warm the property was not overly fussy or so pristine we couldn’t relax. 
We’d definitely book again. We did require assistance while we were there and had an instant response from the host. The only downside was the road noise during the day on the kitchen side but on the back you didn’t hear it. The path from the garden took you straight to the country park which was fabulous for walks. The hot tub was hot, clean and very pretty with the fairy lights over the pergola. An added positive was a generous supply of towels for the tub.

Absolutely beautiful and lovely house. Gorgeous surroundings, spotlessly clean, the hot tub in the woods was a real luxury and Stephen and Amber are the most wonderful hosts. 
They really went that extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed and more, with lovely thoughtful gestures to make our stay for my husband’s 40th that extra bit special. We went there as four adults and one child, and everyone had an amazing time. Thankyou Stephen and Amber, we will definitely be coming back again! X

What a beautiful place! We were so comfortable and cosy in Forestry Cottage, we really didn’t want to leave. It was for a big birthday celebration and Stephen and Amber had left chocolate cake and balloons and birthday card, such a lovely surprise 
Everything was thought of and we really enjoyed our all too brief stay! The hot tub was just the icing on the cake! Even the drizzle didn’t spoil it! 
Very helpful and obliging with our questions and requests! Lots of games to play and a wii was an added bonus

We really enjoyed our stay at Forestry Cottage. Lovely surroundings which felt secluded. The lake which is an accessible via a shortcut through the back is really nice to walk around. Great value and certainly a place we’d look to return to in the future.

One of the nicest Airbnbs we've ever stayed in. They really went above and beyond with their attention to detail and the little touches which make a place feel special. They even noticed that we were coming with a dog and left them a little hamper (which the dog loved!). A very beautiful and tranquil spot with a lovely forest walk on your doorstep, but a short drive from assorted pubs and amenities. The place is spacious and comfortable, and the hot tub was ready and waiting for us when we arrived, which was a nice touch :)

Amber and Stephen were always really friendly and prompt at responding to messages (we asked for an earlier check-in which luckily they were able to accomodate). I couldn't recommend this place enough :)

We stayed for my mums 70th birthday (6 adults, 2 kids and one dog) and the accommodation fitted everyone’s needs and it felt spacious. Having two bathrooms was good for all of us. The gated garden was good for the dog. 

The hot tub was a good addition. 

The extras touches on arrival such as the dog box with bits, wine and a birthday cake for my mum were lovely. 

We liked the location of the accommodation being close to the lake which was lovely to walk round. 

We would stay again.

If I could rate Stephen's home more than 5 stars I would. The attention to detail in their home is just spot on. Loads of wonderful little touches. The welcome book has so much information in it, to suit everyone! It was a gorgeous location, just a short walk to the lake where you can do water sports or just have a lovely walk.

Stephen's home is kitted out with everything you need, games, dvds and even a little basket of fun for your doggy pals. The garden is fully fenced so the dogs were able to roam around without us worrying, and they loved sniffing around!

The hot tub was actually HOT! - a few airbnbs we've been to the hot tub has been only luke warm but this was delightful! 

I could not recommend staying here any more. It was perfect. We came for my daughter's birthday and it was such a wonderful place to have the whole family - dogs too - together.
